Cricket Tutor is also a private tutoring service that provides 1:1 sessions between certified teachers and students. Teachers will guide students that have elected for a virtual learning format for the Fall 2020 school year. Teachers will provide a safe, face-to-face, and engaging experience that will accompany the online learning experience. A supplemental curriculum will be provided to further explain and explore lessons provided by the virtual teacher. With Cricket Tutor, parents have the power to be proactive about their children's learning! Select a service, pick a location, and let Cricket Tutor take care of the rest!
Cricket Tutors are mandated to wear masks throughout the day of their teaching with the student. They will be given multiple masks to change every three hours. They are to have hand sanitizer and gloves at site to assist with the administration of their lessons.
Upon hire, teachers are to be tested and undergo weekly testing before the teaching week begins.
Teachers must adhere to social distancing measures in their personal lives. They must wear masks at all times as well. Teachers will send daily temperature checks to the Director, Heidi Edwards, to ensure the safety of the students.
Upon notification of the teacher testing positive for Covid, they will be removed from the classroom and all students will have to undergo Covid testing.
If only the teacher tests positive for Covid, the teacher will be removed from the classroom and another teacher will replace them.
If students test positive for Covid, the sessions will have to move to a virtual format.
The purpose of the teacher is to provide an interactive atmosphere where the objectives of the lessons are applied to the students’ lessons. The format will not be solely work book or busy work driven. The activities are to expand and further the learning of the lessons given by the virtual teacher of the students’ respective schools.
Schedules are planned based on the information given to the teacher prior to the service officially starting. The sooner the teacher and director receive information about the schools’ virtual schedules and lesson packets, the assigned teacher will be able to plan lessons and activities accordingly.

My impact in the classroom goes beyond the walls of any school. It expands across the globe changing the lives of generations to come.
My travels in teaching have taught me one simple truth, a child's heart is deeply impacted by the love that they feel from how a lesson is prepared and delivered. It's like a special meal served to them on their birthday. The meal celebrates the beauty inside of them, catering to their tastes, satisfying their senses, and sparking their imagination!
That's Cricket Tutor!
"Cater to a student's tastes, satisfy their senses, and spark their imagination!"
To help children discover, accept, and embrace their diversity of learning.
We want students to become life long learners as they discover their own unique ways of knowing.
